Kape Communications managed the promotions and media liaison for The Second Grid. The Second Grid has been in the planning for over two years. The Second Grid used lower and upper levels of the southern end of Melbourne’s business district, connecting them through a high-rise light installation. It also included an installation and exhibition by 3rd year Architecture students from Deakin University and a Digital Projection by Joseph Troha at the Federation Square digital screen. The project was supported by the City of Melbourne, Arts Victoria, Myer Foundation and Deakin University – School of Architecture and Federation Square.
